Walking with Giants (Day or Night) Experience

Join us on our walk to Cloughmore or the “big stone” perched on top of the mountain above Rostrevor looking out over Carlingford Lough.

Cloughmore is an impressive 50-ton natural monument to the last ice age. Some less informed believe it’s what’s known as a “glacial erratic” deposited on the hill by a retreating glacier. Once at the top we will of course tell you the true story of how it got there involving a Giant called Finn McCool This walk is also an excellent night walk option to round off the perfect mountain experience.

Things to bring: 

• Walking specific shoes or walking boots
• Suitable clothing such as Hat, gloves, waterproof jacket.
• Torch
• Backpack with extra water and snack
• Any medication you may require such as inhalers ect
